Google has announced a new 'automated password change' feature at its I/O 2025 conference. "When Chrome detects a compromised password during sign-in, the Password Manager prompts the user with an option to fix it automatically," Google said. With one click, users will be able to tell Chrome to generate a strong replacement and update the password automatically.
