Google's billionaire Co-founder Sergey Brin has donated $500,000 (over ₹4.77 crore) to a group that's opposing a proposed hike in taxes on companies whose CEOs earn 100x or more than their employees' median salaries. The proposal, which will be put before voters in June, will hike gross receipts tax eight times. Several billionaires have also protested the proposal.
