Google Co-founder allowed into NZ despite shut borders for child's treatment

Google Co-founder and the world's sixth-richest person Larry Page was allowed into New Zealand despite its borders being closed for non-residents. A report said that Page visited the country after his child fell ill in Fiji and required hospital treatment. While the opposition party criticised Page's entry, a statement from immigration said that Page "met relevant requirements" for entry.
