Google Co-founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin agreed to an annual salary of $1 during the second quarter of 2004. Page and Brin, who reportedly had a ₹98 lakh ($150,000) salary prior to the decision, stated that their primary compensation would come from stake in Google. Page, who turned 44 on Sunday, has a net worth of about $40 billion.
