Google DeepMind's chief AI exec worked in cornfields for ₹95/hr at age 14

Google DeepMind Chief AI Readiness Officer Lila Ibrahim revealed that she once worked in a cornfield in US at age 14, earning just over $1 (₹95.44) an hour. "I worked in the cornfields of Indiana, literally pulling off tassels, coming home, cuts and sores and sweating...It was really hard labour," she said, noting that the experience strengthened her work ethic.
