Google DeepMind has developed an AI-powered robot that can play table tennis with amateur human-level efficiency. The robot used information about ball's position, speed and spin to learn different moves like the forehand topspin and backhand targeting. The AI can adapt to different opponents by tracking their behaviours and playing style like which side they tend to return ball to.
