Google gets option to buy ₹1 lakh cr Marvell stake in AI chip deal

Google expanded its partnership with Marvell to develop custom AI chips, allowing it to buy up to $12.2 billion (₹1.166 lakh crore) worth of Marvell shares. Google may purchase 58,970,907 Marvell shares at a price of $206.58 apiece, Marvell said in regulatory filing. The two companies will collaborate on chips for Google's AI systems, including its Tensor Processing Units (TPUs).
