Google has unveiled an enterprise-based AI code completion and assistance tool called Gemini Code Assist. It will allow users to perform large-scale changes across their entire codebase. It will also allow code customisation to let enterprises connect their private codebase to tailor Gemini Code Assist. The new tool is a direct competitor to Microsoft's GitHub Copilot.
