Google launched an AI-first video communication platform called Google Beam at I/O 2025 on Tuesday. Google Beam uses a state-of-the-art AI video model to transform 2D video streams into a realistic 3D experience. It uses a six-camera array to capture subject from different angles. An AI video model then puts views together in real time to create a 3D person.
