Google launches Gemini app for Windows PCs

Google has launched a dedicated Gemini app for Windows 10 and 11, featuring a system-wide Alt+Space shortcut, and multi-step AI tasks. It also marked Gmail and Google Drive integration, and AI image/video generation via Nano Banana and Gemini Omni. The lightweight app runs in the background and is available worldwide starting Thursday.
