Tech giant Google on Monday launched a tool called Project Sunroof, which uses Google Maps data to estimate the amount of sunlight your rooftop receives and calculates how much money you could save by installing solar panels. However, it currently only works in the San Francisco Bay Area, Fresno and Boston.
