Google and Lenovo teamed up to announce the first consumer 'Project Tango'-enabled smartphone on Friday. They have also started accepting app proposals for a chance to receive funding and feature on the upcoming Lenovo smartphone. 'Project Tango' is a Google technology platform that allows devices to detect their position relative to the surrounding world without using GPS.
