Google-parent Alphabet is on the brink of overtaking AI chip giant Nvidia to become the world's most valuable company, Bloomberg reported. Alphabet closed Friday with a market capitalisation of $4.8 trillion, while Nvidia's market value stood at $5.2 trillion by the end of the week. The gap between the two has narrowed considerably over the past six months.
