Google ordered to pay $2.7 billion antitrust fine by EU court

The European Union's Court of Justice has upheld an order requiring Google to pay a €2.42 billion ($2.7 billion) fine for abusing the market dominance of its shopping comparison service. The fine was imposed by the European Commission in 2017 but Google had appealed against it. In the last decade, Google has seen fines worth about €8.25 billion in EU.
