Google's parent Alphabet has placed an order with Intel to manufacture more than three million of its specialised AI chips in 2028, according to The Information. NVIDIA is reportedly also considering using Intel's technology to make a future processor that combines four graphics chips into a single unit. Shares of Intel jumped over 11% on Monday following the report.
