Many former Google Plus users received an email stating they could be eligible for a claim under a class-action lawsuit that has been settled for a total of $7.5 million. The lawsuit was filed over Google Plus software bugs that exposed private data of many users between 2015 and 2018. Google ultimately shut down Google Plus in 2019.
