Google, in Q2 FY25, removed nearly 11,000 YouTube channels linked to propaganda networks in China, Russia and other countries, including Turkey and Israel. The move is part of Google's efforts to tackle disinformation campaigns tied to these countries. Over 2,000 channels Russia-linked channels shared content promoting pro-Russian narratives while criticising Ukraine, NATO, and Western nations.
