Google has removed over 200 adware apps, which had nearly 150 million downloads, from its Play Store, as per security firm Check Point which notified Google of the same. Check Point believes developers were tricked into using the malware, hidden in the software developer kit of an ad-platform. Once installed, it removes the app icon and persists in the background.
