Google has responded to Microsoft's claims on Chrome's battery life being below-par, by posting a video that shows the newly launched Chrome 53 offering 2 hours and 12 minutes of additional runtime compared to Chrome 46. Microsoft's testing had earlier favoured its browser Edge over Chrome and reportedly sent notifications in Windows 10 encouraging Chrome users to switch to Edge.
