Google revealed that Grammy-winning singer and music composer Shankar Mahadevan helped develop Music AI Sandbox, a tool for professionals to explore possibilities of generative music model Lyria. Google also played the song Mahadevan created using Sandbox. "We inputed our requirement and it gave us a bed (instrumental song). We used that bed and came up with a song," he said.
