Google on Wednesday revealed when its Nexus smartphones will stop receiving Android software updates. Nexus smartphones will receive guaranteed updates for at least two years from when the device became available on Google Store. While Nexus 6P and Nexus 5X will get no guaranteed updates after September 2017, Nexus 9 and Nexus 6 will stop receiving updates after October 2016.
