Google announced that its Willow quantum chip successfully ran Quantum Echoes algorithm 13,000 times faster than best classical supercomputer. It's the first time any quantum computer successfully ran verifiable algorithm that surpasses supercomputer capabilities. "This breakthrough is significant step toward first real-world application of quantum computing," Google CEO Sundar Pichai said.
