Google's SpaceX bet grows 100-fold in 10 yrs, now its top institutional investor

Google-parent Alphabet's early bet on Elon Musk's SpaceX has multiplied more than 100-fold over a decade, growing from $900 million in 2015 to about $94 ​billion at the end of June this year. Alphabet has emerged as by far the ‌largest single institutional holder of SpaceX following its $86-billion IPO in June. Separately, Musk owned ​a 48.4% stake in SpaceX.
