Google's News app recently began displaying results from online betting market Polymarket along with news articles. Google's spokesperson Ned Adriance clarified to The Verge, "This site briefly appeared in Google News in error, and it is no longer surfacing in News." He further added that Google News shows sources that create content about current issues, events and important topics.
