Google has settled a lawsuit accusing it of racial discrimination against black employees in the US for $50 million (over ₹472 crore). A former Google employee had sued the tech firm, alleging it engaged in unfair treatment of its black workers by steering them into low-paid jobs. The settlement covering over 4,000 Google employees now requires a judge's approval.
