Google has disrupted a China-based cybercrime group running a large-scale SMS phishing operation known as the "Smishing Triad." The group used a phishing-as-a-service kit called Lighthouse to impersonate major brands and steal financial data. More than one million victims across 120 countries were affected. Google said it will continue pursuing legal action against malicious online actors.
