Google to auto-delete new users' history after 18 months by default

Google and Alphabet CEO Sundar Pichai has announced that Google will auto-delete new users' location, web and app activity history after 18 months by default. This means the users' activity data will be automatically and continuously deleted after 18 months, rather than kept until they choose to delete it. Users can turn these settings off or change their auto-delete option.
