Technology giant Google has entered into an agreement with Fossil Group to buy its intellectual property (IP) related to a smartwatch technology currently under development for $40 million. "As part of the transaction, a portion of Fossil Group’s research and development (R&D) team... will join Google," Fossil said. The transaction is expected to close this month, Fossil added.
