Google has said it will not renew its artificial intelligence (AI) drone program for the US military, admitting it faced backlash which was bad for the company. This comes after reports claimed around a dozen Google employees resigned because of the project. Earlier, over 3,100 Google employees signed a petition urging the company's CEO Sundar Pichai to abandon the project.
