Google has announced that it will set up its first cloud region in Greece. Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis said that the deal is estimated to contribute around $2.13 billion to the country's output and create some 20,000 jobs by 2030. Google's announcement comes two years after Microsoft decided to build a data centre hub in Greece.
