Google has informed its employees that it will ramp up Permanent Labor Certification (PERM) applications in 2026, Business Insider reported. However, only those meeting certain criteria regarding education, experience and rating will be eligible for the sponsorship. PERM is a crucial step to securing a green card, which allows the holder to live and work permanently in the US.
