Google to use carbon capture & storage to support its data centres

Google entered into the first corporate agreement to buy electricity from a US power plant using carbon capture and storage in a deal to help fuel its data centres to help advance AI. Broadwing Energy will capture and permanently store approximately 90% of its carbon dioxide emissions. Google will purchase most of the power from that 400 MW-capacity power plant.
