Google launched Gemini for Science at I/O 2026, a set of AI-powered tools to help scientists accelerate research. The tools will support the researchers in generating hypotheses, analysing research papers, identifying patterns across large datasets, and suggesting experiments. Google also launched the Science Skills tool, which connects over 30 life science databases to automate complex workflows.
