Google has agreed to pay $23 million to settle claims it shared user data without permission. As part of the settlement, residents in US who clicked on a Google search result link from October 2006 to September 2013 are entitled to receive an estimated payout of $7.70 (₹631). The settlement is the result of a class-action lawsuit filed in 2013.
