The regional transport authority has allowed the bike taxis to operate in four Uttar Pradesh districts including Ghaziabad, Gautam Budh Nagar, Hapur and Bulandshahr. There are 17 conditions that have to be fulfilled in order to get a permit for registering a bike taxi, according to the officials. Startups like Rapido, Baxi, Ola and Uber provide bike taxis.
