The Ministry of Civil Aviation today banned the use of Samsung's Galaxy Note 7 smartphone on board an aircraft, amid several reports of the device exploding and catching fire. The Ministry has advised airlines and travelling Note 7 users not to turn on or charge the device during flights, or carry it in the checked-in baggage.
