The government has accused Deloitte Haskins & Sells, and KPMG affiliate BSR & Associates of aiding and abetting "organised crime" at IL&FS Group's main lending unit IFIN. The government said it detected at least 22 violations of auditing standards by the firms while investigating fraud at IFIN. It urged the NCLT to impose a five-year ban on the two auditors.
