The government on Sunday night decided to include the Jat community of nine states in the central list of OBCs, a move that is expected to benefit about nine crore people. The nine states are - Bihar, Gujarat, Haryana, HP, MP, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, UP and Delhi. It is widely believed that the move would benefit the Congress electorally.
