Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Tuesday said India aims to achieve "insurance for all" by 2033, stressing that health insurance is a government priority. Speaking in the Rajya Sabha, she said a major rural outreach plan will cover 25,000 gram panchayats. She added that multiple policy steps are being taken to expand access, especially in rural areas.
