India has "strongly condemned" an attack by Iran on two UAE oil tankers, which left one Indian seafarer dead and ten others injured. A total of 30 Indian seafarers were onboard the commercial vessels. "Targeting of commercial shipping and civilian infrastructure in the region must cease [so] that free and unimpeded navigation and commerce...can be restored," the government said.
