Govt cuts windfall tax on export of petrol, diesel, aviation fuel

The government has lowered windfall tax ​on exports of ‌petrol, diesel and aviation turbine fuel with ​immediate effect. The duty on diesel exports has been cut to ₹​20/​litre from ₹25/litre. The ‌levy ⁠on export of petrol has been cut to ₹0.5/litre ​from ₹⁠1.5/litre, while the tax on ​aviation turbine fuel ​has ⁠been set at ₹15/⁠litre ​from ₹19/litre.
