The Ministry of Home Affairs has declared Kashmiri Gate Police Station as the best police station of Delhi in the annual ranking of police stations for 2018. The parameters for awarding the certificate of excellence included maintenance, cleanliness and solving of heinous cases. The MHA also appreciated the station's special de-addiction and rehabilitation drive for children addicted to substance abuse.
