Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal said the government doesn't interfere in exchange rates. "It is a matter of market forces, and it is also dependent on several global factors," he stated, adding that the rupee has appreciated significantly in the last 2-3 days. Rupee closed higher at around 95.6 against the dollar on Friday after earlier nearing the 97 mark.
