The Women and Child Development Ministry has filed an FIR against the non-profit organisation Indian Council for Child Welfare (ICCW), which has been organising the Bravery Awards. ICCW allegedly misused government-allocated funds and failed to refund the unspent balance. The organisation failed to refund the amount of over ₹3 crore from the years between 2014 and 2016.
