Govt inspection reveals 2,000 potholes in Delhi

Around 2,000 potholes and rough patches have been spotted in Delhi after regular inspections were conducted by the Public Works Department (PWD) across the city. Heavy traffic volume, coupled with rain, leads to quick wear and tear, officials said. Delhi's PWD Minister Satyendar Jain has asked the engineers to carry out at least four inspections of different roads every month.
