The I4C, a wing under the Home Ministry, has alerted citizens about online booking frauds, targeting religious pilgrims and domestic travellers. "These scams include setting up of professional-looking but spurious websites, social media and WhatsApp accounts providing services like helicopter booking for Kedarnath and Char Dham," it informed. Victims lose money when services are not delivered.
