Minister of Electronics and Information Technology Ravi Shankar Prasad launched 'Swadeshi Microprocessor Challenge' under the Centre's mission to create a self-reliant India. The challenge aims to promote innovation by developing "frugal solutions around the homegrown processor ecosystem," the ministry said. A sum of ₹4.3 crore will be offered to participants at various stages of the challenge.
