The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has launched a mascot named 'Udai' for Aadhaar. This will help make Aadhaar-related information more relatable and people-friendly, the UIDAI said. The mascot was picked through national design and naming competitions, with Kerala's Arun Gokul winning the design prize and Bhopal's Riya Jain securing the top spot for the name.
