Housing and Urban Affairs Minister Hardeep Singh Puri launched an app for urban local bodies to source loan applications from street vendors under the PM SVANidhi (Street Vendor's AtmaNirbhar Nidhi) scheme. Street vendors can get a loan of up to ₹10,000 under the scheme. Socio-economic profiling of SVANidhi beneficiaries will also be done to help them avail other government schemes.
