Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Friday launched a “round the clock” LPG emergency helpline number ‘1906’. Consumers of the cooking gas can contact the helpline for immediate assistance on tackling gas leakages. The minister asked the government and oil marketing companies to make the number toll free. As of now, normal call rates would be applicable.
